Capital City Chorus seeks to be an inclusive organization within the sphere of performance excellence. Accordingly, Capital City Chorus shall comply with the laws of the State of Indiana and will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin (ancestry), religion (creed), age, sexual orientation, citizenship status, or off~duty tobacco use, in its recruiting and selection of members. In addition, it shall not discriminate on the basis of gender or disability in any of its activities or operations involving volunteers and selection of vendors.
If someone feels they have been discriminated against in any one or more of the areas listed above, they are to notify any current Member of the Integrated Management Team in writing. A full investigation will occur, in which the Integrated Management Team shall rule in accordance with this policy. If discrimination has occurred, the Integrated Management Team will take immediate, affirmative action on behalf of the offended and consider disciplinary action against the offender(s).
