How You Can Join Capital City Chorus
Simply attend a rehearsal of CCC any Thursday night at All Souls Unitarian Church, 5805 E. 56th St.. One of our music team members will listen to your voice to make sure you're placed in the proper voice part. You'll join right in with us in physical and vocal warm-ups and in learning new chorus music. A riser buddy will help you navigate the sheet music and learn your part. Over the next few weeks, you'll receive information about our chorus schedule, goals, and expectations. Our membership team will be ready to answer all your questions.
You'll get sheet music and a learnings tracks for two of CCC's current repertoire songs plus "Harmonize the World", our Sweet Adelines International theme song, and chorus members will be available to sing in practice quartets with you as you prepare for your audition. When you're ready, you'll sing the three songs in a quartet for our Directors, Molly and Bev. Following your successful audition, you will be offered a membership application.
Chorus members traveled to Washington, D.C. in June
2003 to represent Indiana at the National Festival of the States.
