Capital City Chorus receives top-notch coaching from recognized vocal teachers and experts in the barbershop craft. Current coaches include:

• Betty Clipman (Master Director, International Quartet Champion, Certified Sound Judge, Certified Expression Judge, International Judge Specialists Moderator, Certified International Faculty, International Board of Directors)
• Michael Hayden (vocal music teacher, show choir coach, and judge)
• Ase Hagerman (Certified International Faculty, Master Director, former director of Sunlight Chorus)
• Dale Syverson (two-time International Quartet Champion, Master Director of three-time International Champion Rich-Tone Chorus, Certified Expression Judge, Certified International Faculty)

Vocal coach extraordinaire Michael Hayden encourages the bass section to sing with all the width and depth they have! Many Capital City Chorus members take private voice lessons from Michael.
