2006 Region #4 Chorus Competition
Capital City Chorus again entertained the audience with their performance of "Original Dixieland One-Step" and "Back Home Again in Indiana". CCC scored a total of 644 points, just 11 behind first place Pride of Kentucky Chorus. Capital City's score was high enough to result in a Wild Card invitation to compete in Calgary, Alberta, Canada at the 2007 Sweet Adelines International Convention and Competition.
Capital City quartets Classic Connection, Once in a Lifetime, Nightlife, and Upscale competed in the quartet competition. Two of our quartets finished in the top 10! Once in a Lifetime placed 3rd with a score of 542 and Nightlife finished 6th with a score of 511. Upscale and Classic Connection finished 20th and 21st out of the 28 competing quartets.
