2002 International Competition - Nashville, Tennessee
Capital City Chorus had their first opportunity to perform at a SAI International Competition in Nashville, TN November 5-9, 2002. CCC, with 112 on stage, sang "Original Dixieland One-Step" and "Oh, How I Miss You Tonight". Capital City's total score was 1178 which placed them 20th out of the 33 choruses who competed. North Metro took 1st place.
Also competing in Nashville from Region #4 were Gem City Chorus, and Swinglish Mix quartet, who won the quartet contest and became the 2003 International Quartet Champions.
