Who We Are
Capital City Chorus (CCC) is an Arts Education Organization for Indiana. A dynamic womens choral arts organization, Capital City Chorus performs at private and public events throughout the Central Indiana area, and also presents its own musical cabarets and stage shows. Through our performances and educational outreach, we educate the public about barbershop music, which is one of the few truly original American musical art forms.

Capital City Chorus, founded in 1956, is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International,
a world-wide organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical
art form of barbershop harmony through education and performance, with
more than 600 choruses in 13 countries. Since its inception, CCC has entertained audiences throughout the Midwest with
its special brand of four-part harmony.
Our Goals
Vision Statement: Changing lives... one performance at a time!
Mission Statement: The Capital City Chorus is committed to creating musical excellence in a warm, caring and supportive environment which encourages the growth and development of each member through education, performance and competition.

A driving goal of CCC is to be a Fabulous Performing Chorus!
Weekly rehearsals, private vocal instruction for members, dance lessons,
public performances and competition with other barbershop groups help the
chorus reach toward that goal. Performances feature a wide variety of music,
including old standards, Broadway show-stoppers, contemporary pop and country,
gospel, patriotic numbers and jazz -- which give audiences a high-quality,
high-energy performance that will leave them smiling and humming a familiar
tune.
We're Not Just From Indianapolis!
The 80+ members of the group come not just from the Indianapolis
area, but from Anderson, Muncie, Bloomington, New Castle, Lafayette and Fort Wayne.
Rehearsals are held at All Souls Unitarian Church, 5805 E. 56th St., every
Thursday evening at 7 p.m. Every rehearsal includes group voice lessons
and choreography training. Vocal coaches are
brought in during the year to educate and train our singers.
